IndiGo has announced an increase in frequencies on its recently launched long-haul routes connecting Mumbai with Amsterdam and Manchester, responding to robust passenger demand. From 20 September 2025, the airline will operate six flights per week to Amsterdam, upgrading to daily service by 13 October. Service to Manchester will be enhanced to four times weekly from 22 September.

The frequency increase comes less than three months after IndiGo began services to both destinations on 1 and 2 July 2025, using its first damp-leased Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from Norse Atlantic Airways. IndiGo is set to receive five more Dreamliners within this financial year, with the next delivery expected in mid-September. These aircraft will support further expansion of the airline’s international long-haul network.

Bookings for the expanded schedule are now open through IndiGo’s website and mobile app.

The enhanced services underline IndiGo’s growing ambitions in the long-haul segment, as the airline scales beyond its traditional short- and medium-haul operations. The additions are aimed at catering to increasing demand for non-stop connectivity between India and key European destinations.

These expansions also reflect IndiGo’s evolving international strategy, which includes tapping into both business and leisure travel demand from Mumbai—a key hub for outbound traffic. The airline’s foray into long-haul operations began earlier this year and is expected to accelerate as more wide-body aircraft join the fleet in coming months.
