Ajman Tourism Strengthens Ties with India Through Successful Networking Roadshows, ETTravelWorld


The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has successfully completed a multi-city networking initiative in India, reinforcing its commitment to one of its most important source markets. Roadshows held in Delhi, Pune and Kolkata on 15, 17 and 19 September 2025 brought together leading travel agents, tour operators, media representatives and industry stakeholders to highlight Ajman’s position as a distinctive tourism destination in the UAE.

The delegation was led byH E Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, accompanied by senior officials including Mr Abdulaziz AlMahri, Director of Legal Affairs Office, Abdalla Gohar, Project Management and Development Advisor, and Mr Amr Aly Morsy, Tourism Development and Marketing Expert. The team presented Ajman’s diverse tourism offering, ranging from pristine beaches and cultural landmarks to luxury hospitality and family-friendly attractions.

Speaking during the roadshows,H E Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi said: “Over the years, India has remained one of Ajman’s top source markets, with Indian arrivals playing a significant role in our tourism growth. These roadshows gave us a chance to strengthen our relations with Indian travel partners, hear their insights firsthand, and showcase how Ajman is evolving to meet the needs of today’s travellers.
