The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has announced the Hospitality and Tourism Conclave 2026, one of Eastern India’s most significant industry gatherings, to be held at ITC Fortune, Siliguri, on January 16 and 17, 2026. The conclave will unite key stakeholders from India’s tourism and hospitality sectors at a time when the Eastern Himalayan corridor is emerging as one of the country’s fastest-growing travel regions.
With more than 500 delegates expected to attend, including hotel owners, brand leaders, tourism boards, developers, designers, F&B entrepreneurs, and technology firms, the two-day programme will serve as a strategic platform for regional collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Sessions will explore themes such as the future of tourism in Eastern India, emerging hospitality models (villas, hostels, hybrid assets), owner-brand alignment, direct booking and revenue strategies, and the growing role of AI, OTAs, and technology in reshaping guest experiences. The agenda also features panels on branding and design-led outcomes, the rise of regional hospitality brands, and F&B business scalability, alongside curated networking opportunities and a gala awards evening.
The event is presented by MakeMyTrip and powered by Yanolja Cloud Solution, with support from leading hospitality, technology, and destination partners – signalling strong investor confidence in Eastern India’s tourism potential.

The conclave comes as North Bengal, Sikkim, and the wider Eastern Himalayan belt witness steady hotel development and infrastructure upgrades. Enhanced air connectivity and highways have made the region more accessible year-round, creating a strong foundation for long-term tourism growth.
Supported by ICC North Bengal Chairman Harsh Berlia and Vice Chairman Gopal Dalmia, the conclave underscores ICC’s vision to position the East as a national tourism powerhouse.
