The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) has announced the 55th edition of its Annual Convention, scheduled from 18 to 20 September 2025 in Bengaluru. Themed “FutureScape 2047: Redefining Hospitality for a New India”, the convention will focus on shaping the industry’s long-term growth as India approaches its centenary year of independence.
The inaugural ceremony on 18 September will be attended by senior dignitaries. Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister of Karnataka, will deliver the inaugural address, while Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister of India, will present a special address. Other distinguished guests include DK Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka; K Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister of Civil Aviation; A Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana; and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Tourism Minister, Government of India.
On 19 September, the convention will host business sessions addressing the transformation of hospitality and tourism. Discussions will span themes such as building globally resonant Indian brands, rebranding spiritual tourism, shaping India’s trillion-dollar experience economy, expanding to tier 2 and 3 cities, and redefining revenue management. Speakers include Suman Billa, IAS, Vikram Cotah, Anil Chadha, Kapil Chopra, Manav Thadani, and Zubin Saxena.
The final day on 20 September will explore sustainable hospitality, technological innovations, culinary identity, and cybersecurity. Expert voices such as Lakshi Sharad, Michael Dominic, George Ramapuram, Gopinath, Varun Deshpande, and Rohit Bansal will contribute to these dialogues. The convention will conclude with the Valedictory Session and FHRAI Hospitality Awards, with the Valedictory Address delivered by V Vidyavathi, IAS, Secretary Tourism, Government of India.
